Crystal Palace secured their place in the UEFA Conference League last 16 with a 2-0 home victory over Zrinjski Mostar at Selhurst Park. Goals from Maxence Lacroix and Evann Guessand gave Oliver Glasner's side a 3-1 aggregate win in the knockout play-off tie, easing pressure on the manager after recent speculation about his future.

Lacroix opened the scoring with a 36th-minute header from a set-piece, Palace's only first-half effort on goal. The Bosnian champions, who had failed to score in any away Conference League games this season, frustrated the hosts early on. Ismaila Sarr missed several chances, including a one-on-one with goalkeeper Goran Karacic, as Palace's endeavour outweighed their quality for much of the match.

Guessand sealed the win in stoppage time, running through to score after Tomi Juric had earlier sent a header wide for Zrinjski. The victory marks Palace's first back-to-back wins since December and sets up a last-16 tie against either Mainz or AEK Larnaca. Friday's draw in Nyon will determine their next opponent.
