Cruiserweight weigh-in sparks controversy before Bournemouth showdown

Ryan Rozicki launched a furious attack on Chris Billiam-Smith after their cruiserweight weigh-in, accusing him of "looking terrible" after both fighters hit exactly 200lbs. The Canadian claimed some "magic" occurred on the scales before his Bournemouth showdown with the Brit, who returns after a 14-month absence.

Rozicki claimed he weighed 196lbs at his hotel but somehow registered 200lbs at the official weigh-in. He also alleged Billam-Smith was initially recorded at 201lbs before "magically" becoming 200lbs, adding he didn't cut weight and ate before the weigh-in.

The British Boxing Board of Control confirmed the weight was correct, with Sky Sports analysts explaining the analogue scales used can be fiddly. The match headlines Zuffa Boxing 07 at Bournemouth International Centre on Saturday, live on Sky Sports, as Billam-Smith makes his ring return.
