British welterweight Conor Benn has signed a multi-year deal with Zuffa Boxing and is setting his sights on WBC champion Ryan Garcia. The 29-year-old secured the mandatory challenger position after defeating Regis Prograis at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on the Tyson Fury undercard, marking his promotional debut.

Benn believes he's now in contention for elite matchups beyond Garcia, claiming other big names are 'begging' for fights after seeing his performance. The British star avenged his only loss with a November win over Chris Eubank Jr and returned to welterweight after four years, dropping to 149lbs for the Prograis bout on six weeks' notice.

Zuffa Boxing president Dana White expressed enthusiasm about making the Garcia fight happen, stating he wants to create the biggest possible matchups. White also revealed plans to recruit more UK talent, including former WBO cruiserweight champion Chris Billam-Smith, as Zuffa expands its presence in Britain through a new Sky Sports partnership.
