Dylan Eagleson has signed with Zuffa Boxing for his professional career, marking a significant step for the Northern Irish featherweight. The 23-year-old from Bangor will debut in a six-round bout on August 8 at Dublin's 3Arena, headlining a card featuring Aaron McKenna versus Etinosa Oliha and Callum Walsh against Tyler Denny.

Eagleson arrives with impressive amateur credentials, including gold medals at the 2018 and 2019 Irish Senior Cadet Championships, 2020 Irish Under-18 Championships, and a 2022 Commonwealth Games title. His silver medal at the 2022 European Championships in his first senior competition demonstrates his elite potential.

The signing represents Zuffa's continued expansion into European boxing markets, with Eagleson citing the promotion's platform as essential for his championship aspirations. He specifically mentioned the backing of Dana White and Sky Sports as crucial factors in his decision.

Zuffa Boxing will showcase events in Las Vegas on June 28 and New York on July 26 before the Dublin debut, with all cards airing exclusively on Sky Sports in the UK and Ireland. This partnership positions Eagleson to transition successfully from amateur standout to professional contender.
