Spain advanced to the World Cup final with a 2-0 victory over France in Arlington, Texas. Lamine Yamal, who turned 19 on Monday, earned a first-half penalty that Mikel Oyarzabal converted before Pedro Porro added a second after the break, assisted by Dani Olmo.

The Barcelona star referenced Bad Bunny's song on Instagram: "Nuevayol [New York] we're coming for you." The decisive match will be played Sunday at Met Life Stadium in New Jersey against the winner of Argentina vs. England.

France entered as favorites having won all six games with 16 goals, but La Roja remained unbeaten in the tournament. Goalkeeper Unai Simón said the achievement hasn't fully sunk in yet. This marks Spain's first World Cup final since 2010 when they won in South Africa.

Oyarzabal, captain of Real Sociedad, joined David Villa and Emiliano Butragueño with five goals in a single World Cup. "Hopefully we can put the icing on the cake in five days' time," he said.
