Arsenal defender William Saliba has withdrawn from the France squad for upcoming friendlies due to a left ankle injury. The 23-year-old played 90 minutes in Arsenal's Carabao Cup final defeat to Manchester City on Sunday before being ruled out of international duty.

Crystal Palace's Maxence Lacroix has replaced Saliba in the 27-man squad, earning his first senior call-up to Les Bleus. The 25-year-old defender has featured in every game for Palace this season across all competitions and will report to Clairefontaine this Monday.

France, led by Didier Deschamps, will face Brazil in Foxborough on March 26 before taking on Colombia in Maryland on March 29. The team traveled to the United States for the March international break, with Lacroix expected to bolster their defensive options.
