Cristiano Ronaldo scored a 15-minute hat trick for Al Nassr to lead his team to a 5-3 Saudi Pro League win over Al Kholood, bringing his career total to 985 goals. With the score tied 2-2, Ronaldo found the net in the 66th, 72nd and 81st minutes to seal victory and leave himself just 15 goals shy of the 1,000 milestone. The former Real Madrid star, now the leading goalscorer in soccer history with 49 more goals than second-placed Lionel Messi, has now recorded seven career hat tricks since moving to Saudi Arabia in 2023.
His Al Nassr teammate João Félix also contributed four assists as the team remained second in the SPL table on 28 points. After the match, Ronaldo posted on social media: "Great win, great team performance. Happy to help with a hat-trick!".
