1. Nashville SC: Hany Mukhtar became the 16th player in MLS history to score 100 goals after netting twice in a 2-0 win against Toronto. With seven games to go, Nashville is ten points clear as the Music City side seeks its first Supporters' Shield.

5. Philadelphia Union: In a battle of two teams soaring in the second half of their season, Philly came out the victor in a 4-2 win against Orlando. With three players on international duty (including Cavan Sullivan, the team's second-highest goal contributor), Milan Iloski and Indiana Vassilev balled out, both clocking three goal contributions each with the former netting a hat trick.

4. Inter Miami CF: Miami (and Lionel Messi, with an incredible free-kick goal) helped close out the weekend with one of the more entertaining games. But Miami walked away with a 2-1 loss to Columbus after a 98th-minute winner from the Crew. Santiago Morales getting sent off for time wasting two minutes earlier didn't help.
