### Man United Draw 1-1 vs Fulham After Martinez Own Goal

Manchester United drew 1-1 with Fulham at Craven Cottage, failing to win a third straight Premier League match. A comical own goal by Lisandro Martínez gifted Fulham the lead after a botched clearance by goalkeeper Senne Lammens, who blocked Calvin Bassey's shot with his legs before Martínez's pass back squirmed into the net. United were lethargic and spent the international break in the bottom half of the table.

Matheus Cunha redeemed a poor performance by scoring a late deflected equalizer in the 89th minute, his shot spinning cruelly off David Affengruber past Bernd Leno. Fulham dominated chances and should have won, with Alvaro Arbeloa denied his first Premier League victory. Early on, Antonee Robinson set up Gonzalo García, whose shot went wide, while Martínez forced a full-stretch save from Leno.

Bruno Fernandes hit the post from Cunha's cutback. Lammens made three quick saves before his error, denying Sander Berge. Cunha also created chances for Marcus Rashford, who fired over.

Bryan Mbeumo was denied by Leno, who also tipped away Cunha's curling effort. United's malaise was summed up by the surreal nature of the conceded goal, though Cunha's late intervention spared them a third loss in a week.
