Manchester City have released their latest special-edition jersey to celebrate the Lunar New Year, marking the Year of the Fire Horse with a striking prematch shirt. The design features hand-drawn horse motifs in traditional Chinese ink and watercolor style, creating a dense pattern that Puma says embodies power, movement, and relentless drive.

The kit includes beige and metallic gold detailing, fitting for a lunar year that occurs only once every 60 years. City's Fire Horse collection also features an anthem jacket, t-shirt with a galloping blue steed, and baseball cap. This follows their previous Lunar New Year releases for the Year of the Rabbit in 2023 and Year of the Dragon in 2024.

Tottenham Hotspur and Paris Saint-Germain have also joined the celebration with special editions. Spurs' warm-up shirt features deep blue and gold with a zodiac design by Shanghai-based artist Luna, while PSG collaborated with Chinese streetwear label Team Wang on white and red prematch and home shirts with Chinese calligraphy. Scottish club Heart of Midlothian and Sheffield United have also created limited edition prematch jerseys featuring ornate golden cloud motifs and watercolor-style equine forms respectively.
