Liverpool Unveils 2026-27 Third Kit for European Nights

Liverpool have completed their 2026-27 matchday apparel with the release of a new third kit designed to glimmer beneath floodlights on European nights. Unveiled on the same day as the UEFA Champions League league phase draw, the shirt features a black base overlaid with a maroon graphic intended to capture the visual effect of flags waved by supporters during midweek games. The abstract grid design includes rings and geometric shards, with detailing in metallic matte silver to reflect light under high-wattage LED floodlights.

While the club's other kits for the new campaign revive classic retro shirts from the 1980s and 90s, the third jersey is a brand new design. It serves as a tribute to the faithful supporters who created the atmospheres that spurred the team through all of the club's great European adventures. This legacy stretches from their first continental trophy, the 1972-73 UEFA Cup, through to their most recent European triumphs, including the 2018-19 Champions League final win over Tottenham Hotspur and the subsequent 2019 UEFA Super Cup victory over Chelsea.
