LaLiga is preparing a unique retro fiesta where 17 of Spain's top flight clubs will wear special throwback kits during the April 10-13 matchday. The designs, revealed at Madrid Fashion Week, draw inspiration from historical football styles rather than being exact replicas. The special unveiling event gave fans an early glimpse of the nostalgia-laden shirts that will soon grace pitches across Spain.

Several clubs have created standout retro designs. Villarreal's muted yellow jersey nods to their early 2000s European breakthrough, while Real Betis incorporates four decades of history into one shirt. Sevilla returns to their original white and chalky red colors with the "SFC" crest from the early 20th century. Celta Vigo offers the most unique concept with a red-and-white harlequin pattern inspired by the city's flag and its 1809 uprising against Napoleon.

Not all top clubs are participating, with Barcelona underwhelming by using last season's home kit and Real Madrid, Getafe, and Rayo Vallecano opting out completely. While some designs like Levante's monochrome sash and Oviedo's asymmetric sponsor show creativity, the retro collection offers football fans a visual journey through Spanish football's rich sartorial history.
