Wayne watched from the directors' box alongside wife Coleen, taking in his son's first competitive appearance at the historic ground. Kai had joined United's academy in 2020, three years after his father's departure. He had previously scored for the U18s in a League Cup match at the club's Carrington training base. His Old Trafford debut marks a significant milestone in his young career, following directly in his father's footsteps at the same club.
