Inter Miami's White House Visit Marks MLS Cup Triumph

Inter Miami has received an invitation to the White House to celebrate their 2025 Major League Soccer Cup victory, according to a club source. The reigning champions are expected to attend the reception during their upcoming trip to Washington, D.C., where they'll face D.C. United. This follows the longstanding American sports tradition of honoring league champions at the nation's capital.

Inter Miami would join a prestigious list of MLS teams that have made the White House visit, including D.C. United in 1998 and the LA Galaxy multiple times after their championship runs. The Herons clinched their first-ever MLS Cup on December 6, defeating the Vancouver Whitecaps 3-1 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale. While the team had previously won the Supporters' Shield and Leagues Cup, the MLS Cup remained elusive until last season.

The invitation comes as Inter Miami continues to build on their championship momentum. Club co-owner David Beckham has personal experience with the White House tradition, having visited with the Galaxy in 2012. The reception would mark another milestone for the relatively young franchise as they establish themselves among MLS's elite clubs.
