The deal quashes weeks of speculation linking the Mexican prodigy to Real Madrid and other European giants. Tijuana also awarded him the coveted No. 10 shirt, cementing his status as the squad’s centerpiece.

Interest from Barcelona, Manchester City and AC Milan surfaced, but the contract includes a “highly tailored and clearly structured release mechanism” allowing a future bid and European interest to trigger a move. Representative Rafaela Pimenta said the clause creates “a clear pathway for the opportunities ahead.” Mora debuted for Mexico at 16, becoming the nation’s youngest senior international and Liga MX scorer.
