Fulham have opened talks with Manchester City over a potential move for winger Oscar Bobb. The 22-year-old Norway international has been available this month after City secured the signing of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth for £64 million. Fulham are assessing the financial conditions required to bring Bobb to Craven Cottage before the January deadline.

Manchester City value Bobb at around £30 million and would prefer a permanent deal now rather than a loan with an obligation. Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest, but Fulham appear to be leading the race. A potential complication is Bobb's current absence due to a muscle injury sustained in December.

Bobb missed almost all of last season with a broken leg and has made just nine appearances this campaign, mostly from the bench. His limited playing time at City, combined with the arrival of Semenyo, has made a departure likely. A move to Fulham would offer him the regular first-team football he needs to develop.
