Yamal, who is Muslim and whose father is Moroccan, also posted pictures of himself holding the flag on Instagram.

Yamal didn't play in Sunday's title-clinching win over Real Madrid due to injury but is expected to recover for the World Cup in June and July. The Spain international is widely regarded as one of the world's best players and a leading contender to become soccer's next superstar.
