England have been drawn against Spain and Croatia in the 2026-27 Nations League group stage, setting up a rematch of the Euro 2024 final. The draw took place in Brussels on the same day Thomas Tuchel agreed a contract extension as England head coach, keeping him in charge through the Nations League and Euro 2028 on home soil.

Spain broke English hearts in the Euro 2024 final in Germany, which was Gareth Southgate's final match in charge. England will also face Czechia in Group A3, while defending Nations League champions Portugal were grouped with Denmark, Norway and Wales. France drew Italy, Belgium and Turkey, and Germany, Netherlands, Serbia and Greece make up the other League A group.

Wales find themselves in Group A4 alongside Portugal, Denmark and Norway. Scotland, who qualified for the 2026 World Cup, will take on Switzerland, Slovenia and North Macedonia in Group B1. The Republic of Ireland face Israel, Austria and Kosovo in B3, while Northern Ireland will battle Hungary, Ukraine and Georgia in B2. The Nations League group matches will be played in autumn 2026, with quarterfinals and promotion-relegation play-offs in March 2027 and the finals in June 2027.
