Banda's 11 goals in 12 games put her four ahead of North Carolina Courage's Ashley Sanchez in the scoring race. However, her night ended in concerning fashion when she pulled up while sprinting near the sideline in the final minutes, visibly upset as teammates helped her off the field. Pride coach Seb Hines said he didn't know the injury's severity.

Orlando played the closing moments with 10 players after exhausting their substitutions. Banda missed significant time last season with a hip adductor injury, making this latest setback particularly worrisome for a team that relies heavily on her goal-scoring prowess. Her return this March has been instrumental in Orlando's campaign.
