Arsenal's substitutes made the difference once again in their Lille victory, showcasing the team's strength in depth. Manager Mikel Arteta praised the impact of players coming off the bench, which proved crucial in securing the win. However, despite the positive result, Arteta's side still faces unresolved questions ahead of future challenges.
The performance highlighted Arsenal's ability to adapt and rely on squad rotation, a key asset in a demanding season. Yet, concerns remain, particularly surrounding Viktor Gyökeres, whose form or availability continues to be a point of discussion. While the win boosts confidence, the team must address lingering issues to maintain consistency.
Arteta acknowledged both the progress and the work still needed, emphasizing that depth alone isn't enough without solving deeper tactical or personnel concerns. The Lille result offers encouragement, but Arsenal knows it must improve beyond relying on substitutes to compete at the highest level.
