Cole Smith's 4-0 winning goal midway through the third period lifted the surging Vegas Golden Knights to a 2-1 victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The win extended the team's unbeaten streak under new coach John Tortorella to four games, following his mid-March appointment after firing Bruce Cassidy. Vegas has scored 17 goals under Tortorella, now tied with Edmonton for first place in the Pacific Division with 88 points.

Max Sasson opened the scoring for Vancouver with a wrist shot, his 13th goal of the season, but Brayden McNabb quickly tied it. Smith's go-ahead goal 12:13 into the third sealed the win. The Knights swept the season series, including a 5-2 win on February 4th and a 4-2 victory on March 30th in Vegas.
