Week 8 saw Bengals trio Joe Burrow, Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase dominate, with Burrow posting a 39.48‑point season high despite three interceptions, Higgins catching 11 of 12 targets for 37.5 points, and Chase reaching a season‑best 31.1 points. Outside Cincinnati, Bhayshul Tuten exploded for 29.9 points on the Colts' defense, and Brock Bowers recorded a season‑high 28.2 points for the Raiders, reinforcing his status as a top tight end. Meanwhile, Bijan Robinson, Ashton Jeanty and Jonathan Taylor underperformed, and injuries to Tyler Allgeier’s backup role gave him a career‑high 36.1 points after an expanded workload.
The Bengals face Atlanta next, keeping Burrow as a QB1, while Chase and Higgins remain WR1 options. The Raiders still rely on Kirk Cousins, who posted a season‑high 28.18 points, and the defense’s performance suggests continuity for the rest of the season. Fantasy managers should monitor the Bengals’ pass‑heavy attack and the emerging RB/TE combos.
