The United Football League kicks off its third season on March 27 with eight teams competing in a 10-game schedule culminating in a June 13 championship on ABC. Three teams have relocated: the Michigan Panthers are now the Columbus Aviators, the Memphis Showboats became the Louisville Kings, and the San Antonio Brahmas transformed into the Orlando Storm. AJ McCarron makes his coaching debut at age 35 with the Birmingham Stallions, leading an offense anchored by quarterback Matt Corral and All-UFL receiver Deon Cain.

Columbus Aviators feature first-time head coach Ted Ginn Jr., the former Ohio State star, who inherits a roster heavy with former Panthers players. Dallas Renegades bring back Rick Neuheisel after a seven-year absence, with quarterback Luis Perez returning as one of the league's top passers. DC Defenders, under Shannon Harris, defend their 2025 title with MVP Jordan Ta'amu at quarterback. Houston Gamblers welcome back Kevin Sumlin, who previously coached at the University of Houston, while Louisville Kings debut under Chris Redman with former Kentucky standout Benny Snell leading the backfield.

Anthony Becht returns to coach the Orlando Storm after three seasons with the St. Louis Battlehawks, where he compiled a 22-8 record. St. Louis brings in Ricky Proehl as first-time head coach, inheriting All-UFL selections Hakeem Butler and Mike Panasiuk. The Battlehawks feature reigning UFL Defensive Player of the Year Pita Taumoepenu, who recorded 7.5 sacks last season.
