Arkansas quarterback Taylen Green delivered a record-breaking performance at the NFL combine, establishing himself as a top-10 prospect for the 2026 draft. The 6-foot-6, 227-pound signal caller posted a 4.36-second 40-yard dash, a 43½-inch vertical jump, and an 11-foot-2 broad jump - all combine records for quarterbacks since 2003.

Green's 40-yard dash time marked the first sub-4.4 clocking for a quarterback in combine history, surpassing Robert Griffin III's 4.41 from 2012. His vertical jump exceeded Anthony Richardson Sr.'s previous record of 40½ inches, while his broad jump surpassed Richardson's 10-foot-9 mark. These numbers place Green among the most athletically gifted quarterbacks to ever enter the draft.

The four-year starter threw for 2,714 yards with 19 touchdowns and 11 interceptions last season while adding 777 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on the ground. Despite his impressive physical tools, some scouts note concerns about his extended throwing motion that requires refinement for the professional level.
