Baltimore Ravens backup quarterback Tyler 'Snoop' Huntley is out for the season with a turf toe injury requiring surgery, sources told ESPN. The injury occurred during Sunday's loss to the Bills when defensive tackle Ed Oliver twisted Huntley to the ground. This comes as starting quarterback Lamar Jackson is also out indefinitely with a right thumb injury, described by coach Jesse Minter as potentially season-ending.
With both starters sidelined, undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano is set to make his first career start Thursday night against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Fagnano, who wore an ankle brace during practice, will become the second undrafted quarterback to start a primetime game. The Ravens' top three quarterbacks have combined for just 23 career pass attempts and zero touchdown passes.
