Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson will not face a felony charge following his June arrest on a domestic violence charge. The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office confirmed the case has been referred to the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.

A spokesperson for the city attorney's office stated the case has been assigned for pre-filing diversion, an alternative to misdemeanor prosecution. "Charges are not filed against the respondent at this time, however, the case stays open throughout the length of the statute of limitations. It can be re-evaluated if there are further developments," the spokesperson said.

Jackson could still face discipline from the NFL under its personal conduct policy. He was previously suspended for two games in 2024 for violating the league's policy. The Rams signed Jackson to a three-year, $57 million contract extension in February 2025.
