Maxx Crosby is not being traded by the Las Vegas Raiders, according to league sources. Unlike last year, Crosby wants to remain with the team permanently and has not requested a move. The Raiders have had no trade discussions this season and have no plans to deal their star defensive end.
The Baltimore Ravens attempted to acquire Crosby in the offseason, but the deal failed after he failed a physical. This year, the Raiders aim to reach a .500 record in November for the first time since 2020. Currently 3-4, they face the New York Jets on Sunday.
Kirk Cousins remains the starting quarterback, leading the NFL with 16 touchdown passes through seven games. The Raiders have a tough schedule ahead, including games against the 49ers, Seahawks, Broncos, and Browns. After a bye week, they will host the Chargers, Broncos, and Titans.
In the team's ideal scenario, Cousins finishes the season as starter, and Crosby finishes his career in Las Vegas.
