Samson Nacua, brother of Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua, will not be charged after taking a car he believed was his sibling's. The vehicle belonged to Lakers forward Adou Thiero, who declined to press charges.

The mix-up occurred in December when Samson, alongside Trey Rose, was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Authorities said he mistook Thiero’s car for one similar to Puka’s, leading to the misunderstanding.

Samson recently entered the UFL draft and was selected by the Birmingham Stallions. He had previously been suspended for one game after slapping a fan while with the Michigan Panthers last April.

While the case is closed, the incident shines a light on off-field issues involving NFL players’ relatives and how teams manage public relations amid such controversies.
