The NFL has scheduled its first Thanksgiving Eve game, with the Green Bay Packers visiting the Los Angeles Rams on Nov. 25 at 8 p.m. ET. Netflix will stream this landmark matchup, marking another major sports broadcast for the streaming platform. The league expanded its Thanksgiving week offerings beyond the traditional three games on Thanksgiving Day and one on Black Friday.

Netflix's NFL partnerships extend beyond Thanksgiving Eve, as the streamer will also air the "NFL Honors" show during Super Bowl week and the Week 1 game between San Francisco 49ers and Rams in Melbourne, Australia. The platform's popular "Quarterback" series returns for a third season, following Jayden Daniels, Cam Ward, Baker Mayfield, and Joe Flacco during the 2025 season.

The addition of a Thanksgiving Eve game creates five stand-alone contests during Thanksgiving week, giving fans more football viewing options. The complete 2026 regular-season schedule will be revealed Thursday at 8 p.m. ET during a two-hour special on ESPN. This scheduling expansion reflects the league's ongoing strategy to maximize viewership across different platforms and days.
