Jets rookie wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. left New York's 23-10 Week 1 win over the Tennessee Titans in the first quarter with an ankle sprain, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The MRI showed positive news, and Cooper is considered week-to-week with hope he returns within four weeks.

Cooper, one of three first-round picks by the Jets, set up a touchdown with a 30-yard catch-and-run on the opening possession, scored by fellow rookie Kenyon Sadiq. The Jets scored on their first possession only once last season.

Cooper's injury leaves the Jets thin at wide receiver, as veteran Tim Patrick is on injured reserve. Starting safety Minkah Fitzpatrick also left Sunday's win with a groin injury. Coach Aaron Glenn had no updates Monday. ESPN's Rich Cimini contributed.
