Geno Smith says the New York Jets are getting a better version of himself after trading for the veteran quarterback. At 35, Smith is returning to the team that drafted him in 2013, vowing to maximize his remaining years in the NFL.

Smith's best seasons came with the Seattle Seahawks in 2022 and 2023, when he made back-to-back Pro Bowls. His last season with the Las Vegas Raiders was forgettable, throwing a league-high 17 interceptions in a 3-14 campaign.
