Matt Bowen Oct 1, 2026, 06:26 AM ET - Over the first couple of weeks, we focused on players failing to meet expectations. Now, heading into Week 4, let's look at ascending fantasy targets. Below are eight players to consider trading for or adding to your rosters.

DJ Moore, WR, Buffalo Bills - This is an ideal time to trade for Moore despite an early shoulder injury. In full games, he saw at least eight targets with a 33.5% target share, rising to 50% on third downs. Moore is Josh Allen's vertical option and a motion/movement player. The Bills score at a high rate, and Moore is the top target. Don't be surprised if he produces WR1 weeks.

Jared Goff, QB, Detroit Lions - Goff scores 21.2 fantasy PPG despite limited rushing. He's completed 70.6% of passes with at least two touchdown throws in all three games. Detroit's struggling defense could lead to more shootouts. Target managers who drafted Goff as their QB2. His upcoming schedule (@CAR, @ARI, BYE, GB) looks good, and he'll deliver 16-18 points weekly.

Parker Washington, WR, Jacksonville Jaguars - Washington scores 16.4 fantasy PPG with a 30.3% target share and touchdowns in two of three games. In a contract year, his inside/outside flex deployment leads to weekly production. He has a vertical route rate of 45.7% and has caught six of 10 deep targets with two touchdowns. Washington is a WR2 lock.

Matthew Golden, WR, Green Bay Packers - Golden had 21 points in Week 3 and averages 15.4 points per game. His volume is up with 12 targets in recent games.
