Watson completed 16 of 30 passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns, adding 45 rushing yards on 11 carries.

He became the first Browns quarterback since Baker Mayfield in 2018 to lead game-winning fourth-quarter drives in consecutive games. Watson credited the fans' energy for fueling the comeback, saying he wanted to 'finish the job' for the city and organization after being booed earlier in the preseason. He converted two critical third downs and a two-point attempt to rookie Denzel Boston.

The Browns' defense sealed the win with a final interception by Ronnie Hickman. Watson has completed 56 of 82 passes for 587 yards and five touchdowns through three games.
