The Cincinnati Bengals have signed defensive tackle Jonathan Allen to a two-year, $26 million contract, sources told ESPN. The deal could reach $28 million with incentives. Allen, 31, was released by the Minnesota Vikings earlier this week after being a cap casualty.

Allen becomes the Bengals' second major defensive acquisition this offseason, joining edge rusher Boye Mafe, who signed a three-year, $60 million deal. At $13 million annually excluding incentives, Allen ranks among Cincinnati's highest-paid defenders, trailing only Mafe and safety Bryan Cook.

Allen spent one season with Minnesota after signing a free-agent deal in March 2025, recording 68 tackles and 3.5 sacks in 17 games. The former first-round pick out of Washington brings eight NFL seasons of experience to a Bengals defensive line undergoing significant changes.
