Caleb Williams called the game-sealing interception against the Rams a miscommunication with DJ Moore. The Bears' rookie QB stressed the need to be on the same page with receivers after the play that ended their season. Moore, who faced criticism for his route-running, was absent from the locker room postgame.

The costly play occurred in overtime when Williams threw to a spot expecting Moore to flatten his route, but the receiver attacked a different angle. Rams safety Kam Curl intercepted the pass, setting up a 42-yard field goal to send Los Angeles to the NFC Championship Game. Chicago's offense stalled in the extra period.

As the Bears enter the offseason, Williams plans to have conversations with Moore and the entire receiving corps. Fellow receiver Rome Odunze confirmed he won't need surgery for the foot injury that limited him to 12 games in his second season. Odunze finished third on the team with 661 receiving yards.
