You keep going," Brown told NFL Network, emphasizing the need to push through pain in the game. This is not the first time Brown has experienced a dislocated thumb; he suffered a similar injury in 2018 while playing for the University of Mississippi.

The recent injury occurred during a red zone drill where Brown was matched against Pro Bowl cornerback Christian Gonzalez. Quarterback Drake Maye threw a pass intended for Brown, but the play resulted in an interception. After being checked by team doctor Scott Martin and head athletic trainer Jim Whalen, Brown had his thumb taped and returned to drills, even catching two touchdown passes later.

Brown noted that his connection with Maye is improving. "As these practices have been going, me and him have been picking up very good momentum," he stated. He also mentioned plans for "stim and ice" treatment on his thumb post-practice.
