Rap superstar J. Cole has signed a contract to play for the Nanjing Monkey Kings in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), according to ESPN sources. This move marks his third stint in a professional sports league, following appearances with the Rwanda Patriots in the Basketball Africa League (2021) and the Scarborough Shooting Stars in the Canadian Elite Basketball League (2022).

Cole, a multi-Grammy-winning artist and multi-Platinum recording star, previously played high school basketball in North Carolina. His latest album, 'The Fall-Off,' dropped in February.
