The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame announced its Class of 2026, enshrining legends including Candace Parker and the 1996 U.S. women's Olympic team. Parker, a three-time WNBA champion and two-time MVP, becomes the first player to earn both Rookie of the Year and MVP honors in the same season. The 1996 team, coached by Tara VanDerveer and featuring future Hall of Famers like Lisa Leslie and Sheryl Swoopes, won gold in Atlanta and began the U.S. women's Olympic dominance.

Other inductees include Amar'e Stoudemire, Mike D'Antoni, Doc Rivers, and Gonzaga coach Mark Few. The ceremony will take place in Springfield, Massachusetts, on August 14-15, 2026.
