BOSTON -- The Boston Celtics ended Oklahoma City's 12-game winning streak with a 119-109 victory Wednesday night, led by Jaylen Brown's 31-point performance. Brown scored 14 points in the pivotal third quarter as Boston rallied from behind, helping the Celtics take an 88-83 lead into the fourth.

Jayson Tatum bounced back from recent struggles with 19 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists. The Celtics earned a split in their two regular-season meetings with the defending champions, avenging their two-point loss from two weeks ago in Oklahoma City. Brown added eight rebounds and eight assists in the complete effort.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the Thunder with 33 points in his seventh straight 30-point game against Boston, but Oklahoma City shot just 12-of-37 from 3-point range and was outscored 19-2 in second-chance points. The Thunder's first loss since February 25 came against a Celtics team that had previously struggled against elite opponents. This marked Boston's first win against a team entering 40-plus games over .500 since March 2017.
