The 2026 World Baseball Classic championship game between Venezuela and the United States drew 10.8 million viewers on Fox and Fox Deportes, nearly doubling the 2023 final's audience. Venezuela's 3-2 victory over the U.S. team attracted 10.2 million viewers on Fox alone, making it the most-watched WBC game in history.

This year's championship outperformed the 2023 final between Japan and the United States, which drew 5.4 million viewers across FS1, Fox Deportes, and streaming platforms. The 2026 game also surpassed viewership for each of the first four games of the 2023 World Series between Texas and San Francisco.

The entire tournament averaged 1.3 million viewers across Fox, FS1, and FS2, double the 2023 tournament's average of 506,000. The dramatic increase in viewership demonstrates growing interest in international baseball competition.
