Kyle Schwarber delivered a memorable performance at the Field of Dreams game in Dyersville, Iowa, hitting two home runs into the cornfield as the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the Minnesota Twins 7-1. Schwarber, who grew up in Ohio and played college ball in Indiana, added a significant Midwestern highlight to his career.

"We all watched the movie as kids, so it was really cool to be able to see exactly where it was," Schwarber said after the game. He leads the major leagues with 37 home runs this season and now has 377 career home runs. His two-run shot in the fourth inning helped spark the Phillies to victory.

Twins right fielder Luke Keaschall nearly made a spectacular catch on Schwarber's second homer. The Phillies' win moved them into the third wild-card spot in the NL playoffs. Interim manager Don Mattingly praised Schwarber's impact, stating, "The aircraft carriers have still got to carry you." Pitcher Aaron Nola added, "There's no moment ever too big for him."
