The Boston Red Sox have been on an impressive winning streak since the trade of Celtics star Jaylen Brown. On July 1, news broke that Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. At that time, the Red Sox were struggling, 11 games under .500 and in last place in the AL East.

Following the trade, the Red Sox embarked on a remarkable road trip, sweeping the Los Angeles Angels, Chicago White Sox, and New York Mets. This nine-game win streak, with a plus-34 run differential, is tied for the third-longest in MLB this season. The team has an overall record of 14-2 since June 25.

Despite their surge, the Red Sox remain 10 games back in the AL East but are now just a half-game out of a wild-card spot. This isn't the first time Boston has entered the All-Star break on a hot streak; they also had a 10-game win streak in 2025, making them the first MLB team to achieve this in consecutive seasons.
