As the season enters the stretch run, our top 10 remains mostly the same while teams on the fringe of the playoffs continue to try and make a push. Three powerhouse National League teams are vying for MLB's best record and the top two seeds in the NL bracket, securing first-round byes. In the American League, the East winner should determine the No. 1 seed, with an unlikely contender seemingly a lock for the second seed.

Certain divisions, such as the NL West, are basically decided, and the top two wild-card teams in each league have solid leads, leaving multiple teams fighting for the third spot. One of those contenders in the AL was our biggest riser of the week, with the Orioles up five spots to No. 14 and just 1½ games out of the final wild card.

Our expert panel has ranked every team based on a combination of what we've seen so far and what we already knew going into the 162-game marathon. We also asked ESPN MLB experts Buster Olney, David Schoenfield and Jesse Rogers to weigh in with an observation for all 30 teams.

1. Milwaukee Brewers (87-53): Jacob Misiorowski is weeks away from wrapping up his first Cy Young award and could be the first qualified pitcher this decade to record an ERA of 1.70 or below. 2. Los Angeles Dodgers (82-57): The Dodgers don't need Shohei Ohtani to pitch to win their third straight World Series. 3. Atlanta Braves (83-57): Holding onto first place in the NL East and earning a bye should be their goals, but they have the fifth-toughest road ahead. 4. Tampa Bay Rays (83-56): Freddy Peralta has rebounded with the Rays, allowing just one run in 12 innings over his last two outings.
