It is Day 5 of the League Championship Series, and one series is tied while the other could end as soon as tonight. After splitting the first two games in Tampa Bay, the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays face off at Progressive Field in the day's first game. The Guardians are looking to bounce back from a shutout in Game 2 of the ALCS.
Later, in what could be the finale of the NLCS, the Milwaukee Brewers will look to continue their dominant championship series run and sweep the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium. The Brewers could advance to their first World Series appearance since 1982, while the Dodgers try to stave off elimination.
For the Rays at Cleveland (1 p.m. ET), the starting pitchers are Griffin Jax and Gavin Williams. The Rays' lineup is led by Yandy Diaz at DH, followed by Jonathan Aranda, Junior Caminero and Victor Mesa Jr. The Guardians counter with Steven Kwan in left field and Jose Ramirez at third base, with Jo Adell, Nathaniel Lowe and Travis Bazzana rounding out the top of the order.
The Brewers at the Dodgers (8 p.m. ET) have not yet named a starting pitcher, while Tyler Glasnow is set to start for Los Angeles. Lineups for both teams are still to be determined. Game action and postgame analysis from ALCS Game 3 and NLCS Game 4 will follow.
