It's Day 5 of the League Championship Series, with one series tied and the other potentially ending tonight. After splitting the first two games in Tampa Bay, the Cleveland Guardians and Tampa Bay Rays face off at Progressive Field in the day's first game. The Guardians are looking to bounce back from a shutout in Game 2 of the ALCS.
Later, the Milwaukee Brewers could complete a sweep of the reigning champion Los Angeles Dodgers at Dodger Stadium in what could be the finale of the NLCS. The Brewers have been dominant throughout the series, and a win would send them to their first World Series appearance since 1982. The Dodgers, meanwhile, must stave off elimination.
For the Rays and Guardians, the starting pitchers are Griffin Jax and Gavin Williams. Rays lineup highlights include Yandy Diaz at DH, Junior Caminero at third base and Taylor Walls at shortstop. Cleveland counters with Steven Kwan in left field, Jose Ramirez at third base, and Nathaniel Lowe at first base.
The Brewers and Dodgers lineups and starting pitchers have not yet been announced. The Dodgers are expected to start Tyler Glasnow, while the Brewers' starter is to be determined. Stay tuned for lineups, game action and postgame analysis from ALCS Game 3 and NLCS Game 4.
