Last season brought relentless weather interruptions to the club. Players dealt with 24 weather delays, 10 postponements, and six cancellations throughout 2025. Their Instagram caption summed it up: "If you can't beat the weather, wear it." The ballpark's Gulf location creates uncharacteristically hot and humid conditions for its latitude, plus frequent rainfall, thunderstorms, and tropical storms.

Rather than simply endure these challenges, the organization embraced them creatively. The specialty uniforms debut against the Clearwater Threshers on July 18, weather permitting. This approach shows how minor league teams adapt to regional conditions while maintaining fan connection.
