Olympic gymnastics champion Suni Lee is making a comeback, setting her sights on the Los Angeles Olympics in roughly two years. Lee, the 2020 all-around gold medalist and a six-time Olympic medalist, announced her return via Instagram, sharing a video of herself back in the gym.

Lee, 23, had been on a break since the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she contributed to the U.S. team's gold medal and secured individual bronze medals in the all-around and on the uneven bars. Her decision makes her one of several prominent members of the 2024 U.S. Olympic gymnastics team who are aiming for a shot at the LA Games.

Other notable athletes, such as gold medalist Jade Carey, have also recently returned to competition, signaling a strong field for the upcoming Olympic cycle.
