The Phoenix Mercury have re-signed two key players, securing Kahleah Copper with a two-year deal and bringing back DeWanna Bonner. Copper, a four-time WNBA All-Star, sat out the first month due to injury but returned to become the centerpiece of Phoenix's scoring attack, averaging 15.6 points during the regular season.

Copper elevated her performance in the playoffs, averaging 17.8 points on her way to the WNBA Finals with the newly formed big three alongside Satou Sabally and Alyssa Thomas. The 31-year-old guard brings championship experience from her 2021 title with the Chicago Sky.

Bonner, 38, ranks third in WNBA history with 7,807 career points and reunites with her fiancée Alyssa Thomas in Phoenix. After starting last season with Indiana Fever, Bonner averaged 10.9 points through 24 games with Mercury, providing veteran leadership to the team's championship aspirations.
