Hendrick Motorsports announced a five-year contract extension for two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson, keeping the driver under contract through 2031. The deal also renews primary sponsor HendrickCars.com and crew chief Cliff Daniels' multiyear agreement. Since joining Hendrick in 2021, Larson and Daniels have won two Cup titles (2021, 2025) and dominated series statistics, including 32 career wins—26 of which came with Hendrick.

Larson, 33, was previously suspended by NASCAR for a racial slur during a 2020 online event and fired by Chip Ganassi Racing before joining Hendrick. The partnership has solidified the No. 5 Chevrolet as a championship contender, with Larson leading the series in wins, runner-up finishes, and laps led since 2021. "This team has given me everything I need to compete," Larson said. Hendrick praised Larson's "talent, work ethic, and instincts," while team president Jeffrey Brown called the extension a "no-brainer" for maintaining competitive dominance.

The extension signals long-term stability for Hendrick Motorsports, which has won 14 of the last 20 Cup titles.
