Cunningham and Caitlin Clark were not made available to reporters after the game. Kelsey Mitchell, Monique Billings, and head coach Stephanie White addressed media instead. When White was asked about the rally, a Fever PR representative stated neither the organization nor Cunningham had knowledge of the demonstration or contact with organizers, emphasizing their goal is to win games.

Storm coach Sonia Raman said Seattle and Climate Pledge Arena aim to be welcoming and inclusive, and security ensured everyone felt safe. Heather Weiner of No Hate in Washington State called the rally experience positive overall, stating Washington is a caring, inclusive place that comes together against hate.
